Thank you Brian. As always you are spot on! I feel bad for Fauci. He doesn't deserve this. He did his best to get us through the covid pandemic. Trump played down the virus which caused millions to die. If you have read the history on the Spanish flu, you know that they also masked up, got a vaccine out there because it was spreading wildly and killing people. Like Covid, they didn't have time to build a natural immunity.
We are quite aware that we can’t trust anything the felon says. If he didn’t lie, he wouldn’t have anything to say.
I felt terrible for Dr. Fauci today, the GOP should get down on its knees and apologize to him for saving the lives of those of us who followed his advice. Science doesn’t lie, but it morphs into truth as more is learned about any situation. It was a novel virus, novel means ‘brand new’. No one knew much about it, but Dr. Fauci was a virologist, so he had a better idea of its transmission and prevention than anyone else. If everyone had listened to him, the death toll would have been much lower.
Janet and Sharon--I totally agree with both of you. And Brian is 100% correct. The Democrats need to unite. Left wing come on--get to the center at least until after the elections. Democrats will NEVER gain control of the house and senate if they/we are. If "we" don't get united, we will lose big time in November and THAT will be the end of our democracy/republic. That's the biggest reason we lost twelve years ago or so is because the party was (and actually still is) split..
